The Imperial War Museum has a veritable plethora of information about World War One, especially during this centenary year, as well as lots of interesting events.

Talbot House

Located in Poperinge, Belgium Talbot House was a club where soldiers could enjoy some respite without regard to rank or status. Now a fascinating museum, and also a b&b for those who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the place.

In Flanders Fields Museum, Ypres

The In Flanders Fields Museum presents the story of the First World War in the West Flanders region. It is located in the renovated Cloth Halls of Ypres, an important symbol of hardship during World War One and later recovery.

Museum at Delville Wood, the Somme

A museum dedicated to the South African Forces who played a big part in the Battle of Delville Wood, where Robert William Moss fought alongside them.

Thiepval Visitor Centre, the Somme

Located a short distance from the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme and the Thiepval Anglo-French Cemetery.
